Personal User Manual Maker

A personal user manual (also called a "user manual of me" or "how to work with me" page) explains you the way an appliance manual explains a product: product name, date of manufacture, model, key features (what you are good at), how to recharge, warnings (what makes you shut down), troubleshooting (what helps when you are off) and a warranty line. Here every section has example chips you can tap, your MBTI becomes the model number and your zodiac sign and more become little tags. Save it as a 1080×1920 story, a 1080×1080 post or a printable PDF (A4 or US Letter). Nothing you type leaves your device.

How to make one

  1. 1

Choose "My manual" or "A friend's manual". The friend version switches the example chips to things you would say about someone else.

  2. 2

Type the product name (your name or nickname, 12 characters) and, if you like, your birthday. A birthday fills in your zodiac sign.

  3. 3

Pick only the labels you know: MBTI, zodiac, color season, work style, energy and element. Your MBTI and birthday make the model number (like INFP-0814) and every pick shows up as a tag.

  4. 4

Write up to three lines each for key features, how to recharge, warnings and troubleshooting. Tap an example chip to drop it in, then edit it. Empty sections are left out of the card.

  5. 5

Choose a shape (story, square or print) and a color, then save the image (print saves a PDF) or share it. "Copy one line" copies "Mia's User Manual: Warning — …".

FAQ

What goes in a personal user manual?

Whatever someone needs to know to "operate" you well. The usual sections are key features (your strengths), how to recharge (what gives you energy), warnings (what drains or upsets you), troubleshooting (what helps when you are having a bad day) and a warranty line. At work the same idea is called a "how to work with me" page and adds things like preferred hours and how you like feedback. This maker has all the sections ready, so you only fill them in.

Do you have personal user manual examples?

Every section has four example chips: "Remembers every good restaurant" for key features, "30 minutes alone" for recharging, "Goes quiet when hungry" for warnings, "Feed a snack, wait 10 minutes" for troubleshooting. Tap one to drop it into the next empty line, then rewrite it in your own words. Tap it again to remove it. The table below the tool has more example lines for each section.

Can I use it as a "how to work with me" page for a new team?

Yes. Keep the tone you like, fill the sections with how you work best (for example "Best reached on Slack before 3 pm" under recharge, "Last-minute meetings" under warnings) and save the square image or the PDF to drop into Notion, Confluence or a slide. The work style and energy labels are there for exactly that.

How is the model number made?

Your MBTI type and the month and day of your birthday are joined with hyphens, so an INFP born on August 14 gets "INFP-0814". With nothing picked it is simply "ME". The other labels (zodiac, color season, work style, energy, element) appear as small tags under the model line. Everything is optional.

Which dates do you use for zodiac signs?

The common sun sign dates: Aries Mar 21–Apr 19, Taurus Apr 20–May 20, Gemini May 21–Jun 21, Cancer Jun 22–Jul 22, Leo Jul 23–Aug 22, Virgo Aug 23–Sep 22, Libra Sep 23–Oct 23, Scorpio Oct 24–Nov 22, Sagittarius Nov 23–Dec 21, Capricorn Dec 22–Jan 19, Aquarius Jan 20–Feb 18, Pisces Feb 19–Mar 20. Cusp dates can shift by a day from year to year, so you can change the sign by hand.

Can I make a user manual for a friend, partner or parent?

Pick "A friend's manual". The name field becomes their name, the example chips switch to things like "Reaction master", "Gets cranky when hungry" and "Buy their favorite snack", and the card says "Written by someone who has used this product". It makes a funny birthday card or a getting-to-know-you activity in class.

Can I print it for a class activity?

Choose "Print" and press "Save PDF". You get a one-page portrait PDF; pick A4 or US Letter first. Print at "Actual size" (100%) so the margins come out right. Teachers often use it as a first-week "all about me" activity.

Is what I type saved or uploaded?

No. The card is drawn in your browser and nothing is sent to a server. Only your last draft stays in this browser so you can come back to it, and "Start over" clears it. The share button just hands the finished image to your phone's share sheet.
